Are you kiddin' me!!!!!

So I come home from picking up the baby from "school" and hittin' the local Shoprite (yeah Oswalds!) to our favorite blue haired, butter abusing southern fried cooking show host, Paula Deen on the TV. I fix myself a bowl of leftover macaroni (what we called pasta in the 80's) and sat down to enjoyed the absurdity of Paula in action. She was making burgers.... Paula Style.... These weren't your regular 'ol beef patties.. These suckers are tongue numbingly seasoned with every spice in the cabinet, pan fried, topped with a couple fried eggs (in butter.... of course), a liberal amount of bacon and cheese. Now to some of yous that probly sounds like great combo..... but the apex of ubsurdity is that she forgoes the use of hambuger buns & instead opts for using 2 glazed donuts.... I can't understand how I have stents & people like Paula can eat this type of sh*t & don't!!!!!!

Today was the begining of the John & Maggie's, or Maggie & John's (however yous wanna cawl us) re-renouncing of all bad foods.... I guess the worst thing I ate was the leftover pasta (macaroni in the 80's).... Lotsa salad & egg whites.... gone are the fries, pizza & beer... In are the salads, veggies & waters.....

In preparation for policing our eating habits we went out to our favorite Franch restaurant in "the city" (that's right "The City".... There's only one!) with Amy, Andrew, Andrews parents & their friend Phyllis. I decided to get my bad food on for the last time.... Phinneus was very well behaved the whole time. Thanks Paul for picking up the tab! We went back to A & A's apartment for some hot chocolate & cookies.. A nice way to end the holiday eating binge! Then it was back across the river to Jersey....

Tomorrow we are traveling to Lawng Island for the last round of Holiday Cheer.... Hopefully the traffic is kind to us! I'll letcha know!
