Well yesterday was "my 1st Halloween"! Our little Turkey was a hit at the parade his "school" had. We walked around the mini-mall the "school" is located in & the kids went trick-or-treating in all the stores. Me & another dad were bumbed that the pizzeria & the chinese place weren't giving out free food! I think everyone had a great time! The staff got a kick out of the turkey costume, so did some of the parents! We'd like to think that our turkey was the cutest kid in the parade! Our little turkey fell asleep at the end of the festivities. I guess he was "done"!!!!!! Oh! That was a dry one! Gonna need extra gravy! After the parade we shot over to my mom's work to show off our 'lil turkey. He once again was a hit, of course! Then it was home to dish out the candy to the kids..... but the traffic was light.... We still have $50 of candy left!! This was the lightest year we've ever seen! I guess cuz it fell on a Froiday there were more parties that kids went to rather than t-o-t'ing.... Oh well, anybody want some candy?

that is the cutest turkey i have ever seen!! i can't stand it. glad the first halloween was a success. henry was a cow on his first HALLOWeen as peggy calls it.

So glad you guys had a great time. I hear 'ya about the candy. Ohio picked up FIVE bags this week, regardless of the fact that he KNEW we weren't going to be home. Accident??? I think NOT!
