Carjack me sucka.... I don't think so!

EaST Orange, located in the beautiful urban sector of Essex County is the shining jewel of automotive theft in New Jersey. Sandwiched between Newark & Irvington (both "rough" neiborhoods), East Orange is a town not unlike Snake Pliskin's Manhattan in the movie Escape From New York..... It is Ghetto.. So, we have customer that we call on who is located on S. Grove street. Covered in razor wire & cameras, their parking lot is something of a safety zone. Howerver, My dads car got stolen there about 15 years ago, the guy who owns the place had a car stolen there. His is a great story, he was on the way somewhere with his wife & had to stop at the store the get something. He ran inside, and they stole his car.... with his wife in it!! Somehow she got returned, not to sure about the car... Well, Friday was my turn to experience the joys that this area offers... I made a delivery of material to this perticular supply house. Drove up to the light, waiting to make a right on Central to get into Newark. On my left was a Cadillac with to ethnic youths inside. The passenger rolls his window down & asks me (my window was down, the a/c in the truck don't work) "where do you work?". I said, "all over I'm a salesman". Then he starts to get out of his car, asking me "what'chu sell?". I said f*ck this & made the right... That's how fast it can happen kids....

So today we are going to the hospital to get "induced"!!!!!!!!!!!!! Next time I blog, I'll be giving the full baby report! Keep us in your thoughts!! Gotta go to Shoprite now!

Peace!

Oh...My...GAWD! I grew up in Bloomfield, just a few wrong turns from Newark/The Oranges. Fourteen years ago, my Mom gave me two pieces of advice if I should ever end up there:

1) Ignore all posted rules of the road that would impede a speedy getaway.

and

2) If at a red light, always leave enough room between you and the car in front of you, so you can cut onto the sidewalk and speed away, if necessary.

At 17 years old I thought she was a melodramatic freak...now I know better :\ Glad you're home safe!

YAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!!! Can't wait to hear the good news...GOOD LUCK YOU GUYS!! I'm so DAMN excited :)
