and a woo, and a woo, and a woo, woo, woo!!!!

So it's been super crazy busy lartely..... And tragic.... and wonderful all together...

Adding to our normal crazy work/family life we had to deal with the unbelievable loss of a friend just 5 days after she gave birth to a healthy baby boy.... so after trying to help the family, the wake & the funeral last week was totally exhausting... Added to that we were trying to prepair for Master P's Birthday/Baptism party... Lord have mercy has the past few days been tiring!!

So we had the baptism yesterday. Gigi & Papa Ken were in the heezy for the celebration. My whole Long Island crew represented & The Smith's, the Fabro's and a few of my buddys were in the hizouse too! And of course Amy too!!!!!! I think we had enough food....:

fried turkey w/ cranberry ginger & apple chutney, flank steak w/ chimichurri sauce, sausage and peppers, bratts (braised in beer & onions & finnished on the grill, potato salad, pasta salad, white bean & fennel salad... tomato salad, carolina slaw, bread salad, asparagus, roasted veggy antipasto........ wine... beer, iced tea, lemmon-aide..... & of course cake & cawfee!!!! I flexed my kitchen muscle!!

We were blown away by the generosity of everyone.... too too kind!! Master P was great all day. Nothin but smiles all day! He was the star of the show & everyone got a chance to hang out with him!

It poured rain all day, so we couldnt use the yard.... but we did give the new porch a good breakin in!! it worked out awesome! right down to the beer railing we designed! Well I gots to go, when we get the pics I'll get 'em up!

Well, master P can motor around pretty good! He pulls himself up all the time & stands up if there's something to hold on to. I think he'll walk pretty soon...... Its been a middle class nightmare over here lately....... all we do is work work work and see no money for it.... oh well, somebody had to serve the rich man and pay for the poor man..... guess thats our deal..... anywho.... enjoy the pictures... i gotta get some sleep....

YO!!!!! I'M BACK!!!!

So, this has been one hell of a month!!!!! We've been uber busy and I had to go to the doctor to get alergy meds!!!! First time ever!!! I was a congested fool!!!!

So lets recap..... I had 2 trade shows.... One in Atlantic City.... The other in Hershey Pennsyltucky..... Lemme tell yous, they are crazy chocolatey fools out there!!!! I mean the event was on "chocolate ave".... fuh christs sakes!!!!

So Phinneus can now "speed crawl"... i mean faster than I can keep up.... His new thing is climbing up the stairs.... I admire his determination... He puts a smile on his face & crawls up the stairs, one at a time!!!! of course we supervise this, & have gates set up when we aren't "playin stairs"..... He's more into the solid foods... and they are going to promote him to the next phase of the daycare place..... " 'Lil Tots"... Its basically the same thing, but they get to go outside more & get better toys.... I think he'll be "psyched out of his mind", Miles Finch style....

So the long weekend was groovy, I even got to steal a few hours to get to the coast & catch some fish (all released)....

I've gotta get more pics of Master P, but he's so fast now!!!! Well, gotta go!!!!

So for all a yous that've been askin for some video....... Well here ya go! This weekend we packed young Master P up & delivered him to grandma & grandpa's ( I call'em mom & dad).... He spent the night up there & that gave mommy & daddy (maggie & john) a chance to go out to dinner.... In true Maggie 'n John style, we made an adventure outta the experiece... The first restaurant we went to (way in the country.... I mean "the hills have eyes" country) had an hour wait, so we decided to try another spot. After getting lost for about 45 mins, we arrived at "Metro Grille", oddly enough still in a rural, toothless harley-davidsonesque part of new yersey. This place is a pretened urban, NYC trendy type place... The dude (i would call him something else but.....) asked if we could sit at the bar for 5 mins.... but the bar was packed so he said " you can sit in the couch...." & he brought us to a couch near the bar where a party of about 8 people were "partying" and didn't really want our presence....... So after about 5 uncomfortable mins... we opted to stand & wait... After another 5 mins.. painful mins... with the loud music pounding our heads... we noticed that there were 2 sets of tables available.... then another "party of 2" walked in the door & were seated immediately!!!! I proclaimed "yo, f*ck this place... they just seated them & totally forgot about us!!!!!" we walked right past the arsehole who forgot us on the couch (he was starting to gesture toward the freshly cleaned off table, but hey F you pal...) we walked right by & got in the car..... So the moral of the story is to never, ever go into a "metro grille"........ We wound up @ a nice old country inn & had a wonderful meal.... 4 hours or so after we set out for dinner!!!! I think we lucked out by getting disgusted at the yuppy bar & grille.... The place we wound up at was dark & quiet.... just what we like!!!! we were able to talk & enjoy each other!!!!! after dinner we had to go home, watch a lil Harry Potter & go to bed so we could sleep in till 6 AM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! enjoy the pics!!! Da Face

Aight, this is "the face"....... Its what he does to immitate me when I squint to see without my glasses on.... It even comes with a voice he does.... Now all we have to do is squint at him and he smiles & then outs on "the face".... He also likes to shake his head "no"..... & the other day he was shaking his arms and "dancing" to some music!!! It was really cool!

So we took Master P "down the shore", that's Jersey-ese for going to the ocean beach. We hit the park at Sandy Hook. It's free before Memorial Day & after Labor Day. He really enjoyed himself, he looked around at all the kids & the gulls & the water....... After that we went to a cool restaurant on the water for lunch. That night we went out for dinner at Arthurs... We had Ceaser Salad & I had Franch Onion Soup.... Oh, & pickle bar!!!!!! The waitress really loved the baby & kept coming over to see him..... turned out that she had the same birthday as the baby!!! weird right!

Well, other than the regular grind.... there aint nothin much to report from Pauloff Farms....... I guess I'll keep yous posted if anything blogworthy happens!

Get up.... Stand up....

Yeah, so here's some fresh pics to keep yous guys off my back!!!!! We took Master P to the park this past weekend & introduced him to the swings!! He seemed like he really enjoyed them. I think he enjoyed observing the other kids even more!!!!!!! We took him to the Turtleback Zoo in W. Orange the day before too. He loved looking at all the different people. We all had a really nice time.

Phinneus is trying to make short his time crawling. He pulls himself up on anything he can. If you watch him, all he wants to do is find something that he can pull himself up on & help him stand. Tables, chairs, foot rests, stairs.... It don't matter...

Master P's becoming quite the little actor too. He immitates us all the time now! If you shake your head no at him, he smiles (with his 'lil spongebob chicklet teeth) at you & shakes his head no!! If I don't have my glasses on, I have to squint real hard on order to almost see things far away.... when I do, he scrunches his face up & does a cute immitation!!! It's really funny!!!! Good thing he can't immitate what I says!!!! I'd be in trrrroooouuuuble!!!!!!!!!!!!

So tomorrow's my birthday, or more properly the celebratory start of "My Birthday - Special Day Weekend"!!!!!!!!!! So I expect lots of raving from awla yous!!!!!! Yes that means YOU!!!!! Just kidding (a little).... :)
