Woo Woo Woo!

Well, We just had a visit w/ Gigi. Or as Henry
texts in the new modern digital short hand, g2.... She had a good time, I think. Well at least she told everybody on the phone that she was having a good time! Hahahaha! I think we all had a good time.... for real bra! I know we ate well fo sho! Friday I went into a Rocktoberfest theme w/ badada salad and Bratwurst 'n kraut on homemade Pretzel bread! See pics for visual documentation of the whole pretzel making process. Sat night I made a sahsage & pass-ta dish that was dyno-Mite! It went with a wonderful Pinot Noir (No-wah as Gigi says ). Phinneus had a blast w/ G2! He also had fun dressing up as a fireman for the daycare halloween parade! This year he's gonna help hand out the candy, next year he'll hit the bigtime and go treat or treating'(nobody really tricks, right?)! Phinneus found out how fun it can be to rake leaves and jump into the pile! We had some fun with that! Maggies Birthday was this past week, I made a Vaugan feast that was delish! I made a cool menu too, see pic! Well NFL action just started... so I'm out!

We back!

So we just got back from our west coast bonanza vacation.... Complete w/ a weddin & everything.... First we went to California to see Maggies friend Karen and her fams... They were super cool & I got to flex my kitchen muscle one night and made a killer chicken w/ eggplant and artichokes! Then I got to go fishing w/ my buddy Ivan who I haven't gotten to hang out with in 12 years.... Yeah I won the pool on the boat by catching the biggest fish... you know... Then we hit the car and drove down to San Diego and back... what a cool drive! The next day it was off to LA to get a hotel near LAX (huge airport) and have Ivan show us the sights. I must say LA is a cool place , more of a collection of towns than an actual city... We had a great mexican feast in Venice Beach where the naked cowboys derelict cousin, the methed up cowboy performed for nobody.... Then up in the air to Vegas to see Trish n Randy finally tie the not already! And I got to be the best man and maid of honor! Sensi!! The wedding was awesome, everything went down perfectly! I even got some exercize in walking Master P 300 miles across Caesars to Amy's room so Allegra could watch him!! Thanks Allegra! You saved our bacon! Of course I got lost coming back and feared I'd miss the dinner, thankfully I got back in time!! Me Papa Ken & Phinneus went to check out the Hoover Damn, it was really cool! While we were on vacation Maggie and I got to celebreate our 7th year anniversary! With little fanfare but at least we were on vacation and outta smelly New Yersey! I love you babe! So much to tell.... anyway it was a super cool time! When I remember more I'll let yous know! Oh I almost forgot about the dude who gave Trish n Randy $300 in chips for getting married!! how cool!

heart saga

So My heart thingy sent me to the hospital for a few days.... i had one of them atomic nuke-you-ler stress tests and had an irregular heart beat show up... After days of testing, and being "observed" they sent me home w/ a clean bill.... It was crazy the 1st night.. Larry, my roomate was a bit rough around the edges... he basically told the whole hospital to F themselves and then fell outta bed, pee'd all over himself, the bed and the floor and then insulted the nurses who tried to help him.... He even made a few racial remarks too! and this not only happened once at 10:30pm... there was a later performance at 3:30am for those who missed out on the 1st show! Oh it was worth every penny my insurance company shelled out to witness that!!! Oh well, I just figured it'd been some time since i got to share anything with yous.... and the Larry the soggy racist story kills.... Soon enough I'll share some photos of the Master P.... I'd like to take a second to thank my wonderful wife for helping me through this whole heart thing again. Thanks Babe!! You're the best & I apreciate everything you've done!! Soon I'll be able to pick up stuff over 10 pounds and you'll get a break! I love ya! Well...... Gotta go back to work!

its been a while

Well, its been some time between posts hasn't it.... Ya see, the older your kid gets, the less free time you have!!! Today we went to the Meadlands Fair! Phinneus was a lil shy at first. But once we saws the petting zoo he perked up! He really loved the elephant! The rides... Not so much.... All in all I gotta say it was a great Fathers Day!! We went to the diner for breakfast.... Had ravioli for lunch.. The Yankees Beat the Mets.... We went to the Fair and then tried Chipotle for Dinner! Too much has happened since my last blizzog.... I cant remember it awl..... I can tell yous that the real summuh weathuh has rolled in...... Super yummid today.... Well enough rambling..... enjoy the pick... I trew in a shot of Manhattan I took from the palisade in Wehawkin the other day and a shot of my new car... enyoy!!! I also wanna give a shout out to my beautiful wife who made today a great fathers day and makes everyday just that much more better!! Thanks Babe!
