T-day + 1

Um.... I don't wanna be one of those parents that go over the top telling everyone they see that their kid is the cutest thing on the planet...... but um...... I think this picture says it all! I wish I was a better photographer... Half of the pics I take have a bag of recycling in the background!!

Yesterday we took advantage of the "Black Friday Lobster Sale" at Shoprite. They were $3.99 per pound so I couldn't resist! I went to purchase the tasty crustaceans right at 8:00 AM when Shoprite opens and there was already a line of lobster lovers formed! I was like the 12th person & got to witness a full mental breakdown of the lady working behind the seafood counter..... She was yelling at her fellow fish mongers & wasn't all to friendly to the customers either. I was afraid of her!!!! But I didn't let my fear from keeping us from lobster dinner!

We invited my parents to come over and enjoy the feast. And what a feast it was.... The lobsters were HUGE!!!!! The biggest I've ever cooked for sure!! I wonder if Phinneus will like lobster? I hope so!!

Today My Babuh & I decided that we are going to get our Xmas tree. It's kinda early to get one, but since we're going to Chicago we only have 3 weeks to get into the seasonal spirit around here!

THANKSGIVING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well people, it's finally here...... The single greatest holiday on our calender... Turkey Day!!!! I love Thanksgiving because I don't have to worry about getting anyone a present, wrapping (not my forte), faking my reaction to getting a gift I don't really like... you know the deal... This day is just about getting together with people you enjoy, football & of course eating until you go into a coma.... Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday fo sho! This year we have much to be thankful for. Here is my list:

1. Phinneus arrived & brightened our lives



2. The Bush administration is over



3. We still have yobs



4. We still have a house



5. The failing economy has brought gas down to $1.65



6. Food prices being inflated (even though they should have come down with the value of the not so almighty dollar)made it easy to get achieve the $300 mark to get a free Turkey at Shopright....... twice!!

9. Phinneus having most of his "BM's" at daycare... thus legitimizing the weekly cost!

Yeah, so here's some Pics from the Halloween festivities at "school".... Of course Phinneus stole the show in his turkey costume! We included a picture of Phinneus with his little buddy Octavio. They spend alot of time together. See, they are the 1st babies to arrive in the morning. When they 1st see each other they start staring at each other. I think they're intrigued by each others existance! Phinneus has been getting "talkative" lately. He smiles huge & laughs alot too! We can't even believe this is the same kid who kept us up for 3 months!!!!!! Nothing real exciting to report.... We've been working like dawgs... Oh well, at least we still have jobs!

Friday Night Phinnian!!!!

So Phinneus crashed ladies night over at Barbara's on Friday night! He went to Arthurs, a restaurant in Sparta & watched mommy & daddy eat Caeser Salad before bustin onto the scene over at Barbaras! We just had a hankerin for some Caeser Salad & Arty's makes a darn good one! There was a little girl that loved looking at Phinneus, so her and her moms came over a few times. Phinnians a hit every place he goes!! I had some Franch Onion Soup, & Franch Fries too... I love the soup!!! I woner if the baby will like it? Saturday night we had dinner over at my parents place so they could see teh baby before they hit the air to Ft. Myers.... Lucky Dawgs!!! Well It's almost 8:00PM, so I gotta turn in...

October Turkey!

Well yesterday was "my 1st Halloween"! Our little Turkey was a hit at the parade his "school" had. We walked around the mini-mall the "school" is located in & the kids went trick-or-treating in all the stores. Me & another dad were bumbed that the pizzeria & the chinese place weren't giving out free food! I think everyone had a great time! The staff got a kick out of the turkey costume, so did some of the parents! We'd like to think that our turkey was the cutest kid in the parade! Our little turkey fell asleep at the end of the festivities. I guess he was "done"!!!!!! Oh! That was a dry one! Gonna need extra gravy! After the parade we shot over to my mom's work to show off our 'lil turkey. He once again was a hit, of course! Then it was home to dish out the candy to the kids..... but the traffic was light.... We still have $50 of candy left!! This was the lightest year we've ever seen! I guess cuz it fell on a Froiday there were more parties that kids went to rather than t-o-t'ing.... Oh well, anybody want some candy?
