trick or treat!

So it's Halloween eve & I went & bought $70 of candy to hand out to the kiddies tomorrow. I don't know why, but I love Halloween. I get a kick outta all the little kids & their costumes! I can't wait 'till Phinneus is old enough to trick-or-treat!!!!! Oh, but he will be dressing up tomorrow! Even for "school". That's what we call his daycare. They're having a parade with all the kids. Maggie & I are gonna get there to push him in the parade! He's gonna be a turkey!! Goble Goble!!! It should be fun, & a great chance for some new pictures!!! I gotta tell ya, Phinneus is like a new kid. He is all smiles & laughs. He loves to laugh! There are a few pics of him laughing up above! It's the best, & we live for his little laughs! He was even happy after getting 3 shots yesterday. We took him to Maggies office to meet all her co-workers right after getting the shots. He was smiling at everyone! This is making those first few months of "the colic" well worth it! I get a kick outta the pic above where he's wearing blue... He looks like he got into one of daddy's bottles! Well, I better get to bed & get rested for tomorrows festivities!

Snow!

Yeah, so we have been blessed with our 1st snow of the season. I must say I don't think I've ever seen a such a small amount of snow cause so much chaos in my whole life! They closed Phinneus' daycare place early, so Maggie & I had to make a mad dash to try & get there by 3pm when they closed up shop. It took the both of us 2 hours to get there! I haven't seen so many trees come down in about 9 years! I wonder what Phinneus thought of the snow? Did the scene unfolding outside of the window blow his little mind? Could you imagine seing snow for the 1st time?? Above is a cute picture of our 'lil cowboy! Monday was Maggies birthday, so if any of yous haven't wished her a happy birfday, yous better get to it! Talking babies, Dr. Oz, Lentil Loaf.... OH MY!!

So since my last post we've been very... very busy!! First, we were able to catch some video of our 'lil pal "talking" away. He's getting more "talkative" lately! It's remarkable how smiley & joyful he's become! I really can't believe this is the same baby! Sunday we dropped the baby off w/ my parents & blazed the trail to A.C. for Dr. Oz, live in concert!!! He did all his hits. He rapped about being being unhealthy & what you can do to get healthy! I thought it was funny that we were discussing health in the most unhealthy spot on the east coast! Be that as it may, we had a great time ot the Oz show! Of course we had to stop & play a little bit!!! We even came home w/ a few more dollars than we went down with! So that was great!! Then Sunday My Babuh did some more cooking!!! She made an awesome lentil loaf! It's like meatloaf, hold the meat!! It was really delish! You go babe! A great side effect of the baby waking up a few times the other night was that I got to watch the Redsox get bounced from the playoffs!! Thanks buddy! Oh Boy!

Here are the latest & greatest pics of our 'lil guy. He is really like a whole new kid now. He "talks" & smiles all the time now. Gone are the hours, days, weeks & months of constant crying! Hooray! So..... what to report.... OK, the baby seems to like his daycare. That's a big relief. Only he already got a little sick. & brought it home... & of course I got sick & was knocked on my ass for 2 days! Oh well, par for the course if I may be cliche!!! Yesterday Me & the kid hung out for most of the day while Maggie (he knows her as "Mommy") made ready the preperations for the week! She even cooked!!! Go Babe!!! I expect raving people!!! So now it's back to the daily grind... Joy... At least we have Dr. Oz in concert this weekend to look forward to!! I gotta go!

Weekend update

Helloo all you Joooh Six peah-yuks & Hackey Mahms out there! Here are the latest pics of our 'lil man, fresh off the digital presses. The pics are courtesy of my dad, who sacreficed his body & layed on the floor in order to get the shot!!! That's photo-journalism baby!! So, as mosta yous know yesterday was our 5th anniversary! We were able to get my parents to watch Phinneus for the night so we could go & celebrate. & celebrate we did! Where did we go???? AC baby! It was affordable (comp room)!!!! We got drinks, had fun in the casino & settled in with some room sevice for dinner! We hadn't gotten room service since our honeymoon, so we felt it was fitting!!! We got up early and watched the sunrise over the Atlantic horizon while walking on the beach! It was a great trip!

So did yous guys know what the traditional 5th anny gift is???? Wood!!!!! It's the wooden anniversary!!!! What kinda crap is that??? "Hey Babe, I love you, here's some oak!"???? I don't get that one!!!

Why is it that the right wing-religeoso politicians can't say "nuclear"???? Palin says "nuke-you-ler", just like good 'ol George W?? I mean if your gonna be the #2 person in the gov't, shouldn't you know how to speak???? I dunno....... Yous can start raving!!!!

Master P lovin' the daycare

So Phinneus is enjoying his time at daycare! He even had a BM (yous know.... #2..) today!! They keep giving good reports, so I guess he really likes the change in scenery! Unfortunately he's not to photogenic right now.. See, his nails grow faster than the speed of light & they are super sharp! So, he's like Phinny Kruger if we aren't carefull.... The past few nights he stratched the snit outta his face.... I had to 'splain why he was so scratched up to his "teachers" cuz I was afraid they'd report me to child services!! Rest assured his nails got trimmed today!! Today was Maggies 1st day back to the work... She said it went well!! I wish I made some more dough so she could stay home w/ the baby... but I guess I gotta feel blessed to have a yob in this economy! Our 5th anny is coming up! can yous believe it's been 5 year already!!! OK, yous can awl start the raving now!!
