T&R in the house

So, I returned from the NH trip tired & road weary.... Wednesday night I headed to LaGuardia Airport in beautiful Queens NY to get Trish & Randy. They were a lil delayed & their bags were a bit late getting to the carousel, so we didn't get home until midnight.... In the morning we took Phinneus to the Dr. for his 2 month check up. He weighed in at 11lbs 10 oz!!! Thats almost twice what he weighed when he busted out! That's alotta weight to gain in 2 months, I mean if I did that I'd be 400 pounds!!! He is now 22 3/4" lawng (long)!!! The Nurse said that he was beautiful & asked if she could hold him!!! He was great at the doctor's office, he didn't pee on anything or anyone!!! It wasn't all fun though, he had to get 2 shots.... & he didn't like that... I didn't like hearing him cry! It wasn't the usual cranky cry, it was a HELP I'M IM PAIN cry! So I guess the whole family left a little traumatized!

Yesterday Amy came out to see everyone & we had a mini BBQ at our place. I say mini cuz we only had 30% to much food. Thankfully we had Jersey sweet white corn... The best corn on the planet, hands down.... Most people don't know that we here in the great Garden State have the BEST corn & tomatoes in the world... We had boiguhs (burgers), natan's hotdawgs (nathans hotdogs), sawuhsage (chicken sausage), toikey boiguhs (turkey burgers), veggy boiguhs (veggy burgers) & all the fixins... I ate till I almost exploded, one thin mint woulda done it I think!

Today we're going to take Phinneus to NYC for the first time! He's recently gone through a metamorphasis of sorts, he doesn't cry all the time & we think maybe we can get away with leaving the house! So we'll squeeze in to see Amy & Andrew's apt. then check out the sights & end up eating my favorite food, PIZZA!!!! We're gonna hit Johns Pizza, they make wood fired pizza.... It should be fun!!!!

PEACE!

El Bloggerino

So I know it's been a long time since my last post, but yous gotta understand that things are a 'lil busy around Pauloff Farms lately..... Ya see, my last name "Paul" is apparently the Scottish-American equivilent of the Afro-American "Kinte" surname.... I've been workin' like Kunta, Kizzy & even Chicken George all rolled up into one! It's like this, at every year in mid August people start thinking about heating systems.... So things start getting busy for me... Unfortunately for me it doesn't mean any increase in my bank account.... I know yous are all thinking "huh??".... So here's the deal, the supply houses that buy my stuff have all already bought 90% of what they need for "the season"... The other 10% they may purchase, or they may not.... So I get calls from their customers, cuz the employees at the supply houses are mostly worthless losers who know nothing..... I sold the products to the supply houses back in June.... Then I have to help sell it for the supply house (no $), then I have to help the contractor sell it & provide tech support (yup, no $) cuz the plumbers & heating contractors are just as worthless as the guys in the supply houses.... All in hopes that the supply house's purchasing agent (who gets a bonus based on keeping inventory at a minimum, i.e. gets paid not no purchase) may someday place an order..... but they usually place the order to little to late..... & here's the kicker.... the worthless supply house guys want you to do "counter days" and bbq's to get the word out to the equally worthless contractors.... But the contractors helpers are the only ones who show up... for free food & t-shirts.... No desicion makers, just the laborers.... So you have to pay to feed a bunch of turds that don't buy your products.... So basically I spin my wheels all week, instead of being able to provide yous, my fans with the comic relief and news of young Master P that yous all desire!! So that's the story folks.... Then when I get home it's family time, so I don't get the time to blog like I used to.... But I will always try & get on when I can, & give yous the best blog I can.... That's why they call me....... El Bloggerino!!

So yesterday we dropped Master P off w/ my Moms & Dads (thanks moms & dads!) & went out for some much needed alone time. We did the next best thing to hitting the Lotto & going island hopping through the Caribean. We hit the local AMC Theaters for a movie!! OF course since I sell things 4 times & only get paid once, we can't afford the "treats" at the movie snack counter. So we hit CVS before the show & loaded up. Laffy Taffy, Reeses Pieces, Gummy Bears, 2 tall boy cans of Arizoner ice tea & we even brought our own popped corn! I'm pretty sure I had the diabeets about halfway through "the picture". We seen that new Ben Stiller "picture", the "Tropic Thunder"... I gotta say it was just what we needed.... really, really, reeeeeeeaaaaallllyyyy stupid! & it had some awesome explosions! For some reason Maggie & I were the only people laughing through most of the movie... I just don't think the rest if the audience got it.... I thought it was funny.... So did my babuh! I ain't gonna go through the plot, but I recommend yous check it out! Even Tom Cruise is funny in it, though I still know he's a couch jumping, non perscription medication taking weirdo that believes in that whole Scientology crap......

After the movies we went to have some "supper" at my parents. We had veggy chile & salad w/ all the the fixin's... It was a nice treat! Then we were off for home. Phinneus slept the whole night through for the first time ever!! from 9pm - 5am!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm still in shock over it! We thought something was wrong, but everytime we (Maggie) checked on him, he was ok & asleep! Hopefully he'll adopt this as his new routine, cuz Mommy & Daddy could really get used to sleeping more than 2 or 3 hours at a time!!!!!!!

This upcoming week is gonna be a little bit different. I'm going up to New Hampshire Monday-Tuesday for work. We're trying to train some of the worthless supply house salespeople on our boilers.... You know, try & give 'em a little worth.... Worth to me at least, I'm sick of doing everyones job! Of course I'll be an hour away from Boston & the Yanks will be playing the dreaded Redsox!!! It should make for some intresting conversations with the people up there! When I get back from being enemy lines I will have the remainder of the week off. So with the weekend & next Monday being Labor day it's like a whole week off!!! Trish 'n Randy are coming out to meet the baby (Trish's nephew & Randy's common n' law nephew). I'm sure we'll have a blast. I'm looking forward to the pilgrimage to Lombardi's Pizzeria in the city... & we'll be sampling Taylor Ham, Bagels & all things Jersey... I wonder what kinda trouble we can get into, & if the Evil Eye will come out?? We'll have to wait 'n see!!!

PEACE!

As promised...

All the new pics!!!! enjoy!!

hip on time....

Time.... you gotta be hip on time... If this reference is lost on yous, go rent Easy Rider & get hip! Time is something that's been zooming past me recently... So I thought I'd have time to blog this past week w/ Jane & Henry here..... I was wrong! I wound up having a busy week at the job... I didn't get to hang out w/ the crew much, just at night after work... I think they had a good time, they seemed happy... but then again babies smiling w/ the gas seem happy too.... Thanks for coming guys!! See yous in December! Now we have to get ready for the last round of Chicago peeps, Trish n' Randy! They come in at the end 'o the month.

Not much really to report from Pauloff Farms, just the status quo of baby duties (& doodies..)... Today we're going to B & O's bbq for as long as young Master Phinneus can handle it. We got invited to my sisters casa upstate near Albany (is that where Albanians come from?), but il bambino can't handle that kinda journey yet... We consider going to the super-market w/ him a big trip!

Well th..th...th... that's all folks!

Peace!

Full House

So Janie & Henry made it to our 'lil slice of Jersey Saturday evening. Tonight St. Amy is spending the night too, and helping with the nights feedings... THANKS AMY!!! So 'ya see, we have a full house tonight!! Janie made shell pasta & clam sauce for dinner.... delish!! THANKS JANE!! Last night we did a indoor bbq cuz the outdoor plans were denied by rain. It's been raining regularly the past few days here... At the BBQ we had burgers, dogs, premio sausage (the best!), beans, salads, Janie's salsa, guac.... enough food to set my diet in reverse for a few days! It's fun having a full house, there's always somethin' going on!

On Saturday we dropped Phinneus off w/ Grandma Gloria for a few hours (thanks Mom!!) & Maggie was able to get some things organized & situated for Janie & Henry's visit while I hit a local concert w/ my buddy Kev. We saw the Darkstar Orchestra... They kicked major butt!!! They played in this park that belongs to a Norweigan social club... It may be the best venue ever! This neo-hippy "jamband" concert promotion agency rented the viking park & got DSO to play! Maggie dropped us off & picked us up so we could have beers at the show (thanks Babe!!). & the beers flowed!! Chenoah picked Phinn up from my moms & brought him back home (theanks Chenoah!) & then poured Kev into the minivan to head home! I may have caught some evil-eye action, but we had fun! As a wise man once said, "I love it when a plan comes together!".....

It's nice having extre hands around to help with the baby! Sorry for the lack of pics on this post, I'll get some out on hte nest post for sure... I gotta go, I have a real early day whoring boilers to the moronic masses tomorrow....

Peace!

the latest

So here's the latest.... Brett Favre is a Jet & we got some shots of the 'lil guy smiling! Have you ever noticed that babies smell like TCBY after they eat the formuler? I noticed it after a bottle had a massive leak all over Phinneus & me (so.. so much fun). I was in the middle of trying to stop the leak & keep him calm cuz he was starving (no simple task, holding a squirming baby & trying to fix a bottle) & all I could smell was melted TCBY. The same aroma you get from the cup after finishing a "shiver" (the TCBY version of the DQ "Blizzard"). Now all I smell is TCBY... On his breath, on his clothes, everywhere.... The first formuler was more of a cream cheese smell, this stuff is totally frozen yogurt... So tomorrow Janie & Henry are making the journey to Jersey to meet Phinneus (Mr. Yogurt). We are so excited for the extra help! I hope they are prepaired for when we get the daily visit of the crainkies!!! Well, I gots to head out to the work... Lets hope I sell something soon, it's been slow.... I think I may get some TCBY today!! With Sprinkles (yous guys say "Jimmies"!?)!!!!!!!!!!!!!
PEACE

On the 7th day he posted...

Yeah, yeah..... I know...... 6 days since my last post is to long.... Trust Yous me, I was feelin' it to!! I enjoy telling yous guys about our lives, & when I can't get the blogs out, I feel..... deprived or something..... This was a busy week, with sleep deprivation in full affect, so I wasn't able to share our world via this blog with all of yous around the country.... world..... around the universe!!! So here's some freshies of the 'lil man. He learned a new expression this week... He learned how to smile!!!!!!!! So now we add the smile to the list of things we celebrate...... Smile.... YAAAAAAY!!! What else, what else..... Well he moved into the next size of the diapers. Good thing cuz now miraculously when we put 4 oz of fluid into him, he releases a torrent double that??!!! I don't know how he does it, but let me tell you... he is a tinklin' machine! Enough of that.... So it's been like 90 degrees all week, with 100% hummidity... A perfect recipe to give me that "glistening" look.... After a day of 90 degree hummid heat I look like somebody dipped me in a french fryer... Seriously... I mean I look like one of them cups of Thrashers fries from Rehoboth (pronounced ruh-heowbth down there)... I think this has been the hottest summer in like 10 years or so... Hottest one I can remember in a while.... So on Thursday St. Amy came over & helped us out again. She cooked us dinner (scallops, mmmmmm) & the next day her & Maggie prepaired some dishes for us to keep in the fridge!! Thanks Amy!!!!! It's tough finding time to prepair food when we're always trying to comfort the baby, feed him, trying to get him to sleep.... This parenting is like a full time job I says!!!! I had about 5 really funny things I wanted to blog about, but the lack of sleep has deprived me of my memory!! & lets face it, my memory was never my strength. Wait, what were we tawkin aboud (talking about in Jerseyese)? I can't remember.... Oh well!! So I got a bunch more pictures to post in the upcoming days. Can't wait for Janie & Henry to come & stay with us!! We're gonna have soooooooo much fun, & lets face it.... We could use a few extre hands!! So thats my report from the front lines!
Peace!
